EASY FRUIT GLAZE

  1. Sprinkle gelatine over cold water in a small bowl; let stand 1 minute. 

  2. Add boiling water and stir until gelatine is completely dissolved, about 3 minutes. 

  3. Add honey and lemon juice.  Refrigerate until mixture is the consistency of unbeaten egg whites, about 20 minutes; stir occasionally. 

  4. Spoon over fruit on flan.

Makes enough glaze for an 11-inch (28 cm) tart.

TIP:
If glaze sets before spooning on dessert, simply soften in a hot water bath until it reaches the desired consistency.
