Knox Blox® The Original

A classic family favourite, Knox Blox® are easy to make and fun to eat! These bit sized colourful fruit juice jelly blocks are the perfect party snack. Knox Blox® can be made using E.D.SMITH Knox® combined with packaged flavoured gelatine or your favourite fruit juice. Both recipe variations result in jiggly blox bursting with flavour that are firm enough to pick up and eat with your fingers, even at room temperature!

Ingredients

4 pouches E.D.SMITH® Knox® Unflavoured Gelatine
3 packages (85 g each) fruit flavoured or sugar-free fruit flavoured jelly powder
4 cups (1 L) boiling water

Tips

For tri-coloured Knox Blox® repeat your preferred Knox Blox® recipe variation for each colour/flavour. For our red, orange and green version in the picture we used cranberry cocktail, orangeade and limeade. Don’t forget the whipped cream for serving!

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the E.D.SMITH® Knox® Unflavoured Gelatine and fruit flavoured jelly powder. Add boiling water and stir until gelatine is completely dissolved, approximately 5 minutes
  2. Pour the mixture into an 8x8 inch square (1.89 L) pan, chill until firm, about 3 hours. 
  3. Once set, cut into 1-inch (2.5 cm) squares and serve.
